Dr. Dre is really cashin’ out. After topping the Hip-Hop Forbes list of 2012 in September, Dr. Dre is back on the number 1 spot on the Highest Paid Musicians list released by Forbes with a cool $110 million in the pocket. Says Forbes:
Hip-hop superproducer Dr. Dre leads the pack this year with $110 million, thanks largely to his Beats headphone line. He collected $100 million pretax when handset maker HTC paid $300 million for a 51% stake in the company last year, at the beginning of our scoring period; he and his partners later bought back half of what they sold.
18 year Justin Bieber is on the 10th spot with $55 million while Rihanna and Diddy occupy the 12th and 15th positions respectively. Beyonce is #18 with $40 milliom while her husband is a little behind at #20 ($38 million). An analysis on video from Forbes is below.
