Kanye West played and performed ‘Mama’s Boyfriend’ at a couple of venues in 2010, including a secret spot in NYC and Facebook & Twitter offices but till date, fans haven’t been able to hear the full song in its CDQ glory.
While at the Red Bull Music Academy recently, Q-Tip chatted with journalist Chairman Mao where he spoke on working with Kanye on his last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, his past catalog and much more. He also speaks on ‘Mama’s Boyfriend’, revealing that there were several versions of the song, including one which was produced by Soulja Boy.
