Mariah Carey’s performance at the BET Awards last weekend received a lot of flak after she was found lip-singing throughout her short set. But that wasn’t the case when the talented singer turned up to perform at Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Liberty State Park. She delivered solid vocals on her classic song ‘Hero’ and brought out Miguel to join her on ‘Beautiful’. She was introduced by her husband Nick Cannon and gave a short speech before her performance.
Usher was selected to curate the fireworks and music extravaganza for Macy’s over the Hudson river.
