Remember Tru Life, the former Roc-La-Familia Records artist? In 2011, Tru Life was sentenced to an eight year prison term stemming from his alleged involvement in the 2009 stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero.
But the rapper, who was able to score a deal with Jay Z back then as a result of his tremendous street buzz, is now a free man and ready to make a musical comeback. With a documentary and other stuff in the works, he releases his first official single after being released — the Rick Ross and Velous featured ‘Bag For It’. Not a bad start at all we say.
