Rapper Russ is more than just a rapper — we’ve known that for a while now. With this new song, he has only cemented his legacy further. Yes, he has produced, engineered, written & rapped on his latest song, ‘Coulda Shoulda Woulda.’
Russ goes all in on people who love to make excuses with an aggressive approach with the age old adage: “coulda, shoulda, woulda — you didn’t!” The most interesting part, however, is the fact that Russ made a hard beat with tough sounding drums over soulful samples picked from old French/ Italian music.

The juxtaposition of two seemingly opposite worlds built tension beautifully, especially when the sample was time-stretched and put through the half-time plugin, as Russ also mentioned in his behind the scenes video while deconstructing the beat.
