Detroit has seen many Hip-Hop stars make a mark in the industry — Eminem, Royce 5’9″, J. Dilla, Black Milk and Big Sean to name a few. But there’s also Ty Farris who’s been grinding on the indie scene for years now.
Ty is releasing his new album Room 39 on Monday, January 30th (pre-order here) which will feature guest appearances from Rapper Big Pooh, Kid Vishis and more. There’s also Royce 5’9″ who makes an appearance on the album standout ‘Hold On’ which HHNM is premiering today.
The sample heavy instrumental done by Portland producer Trox is the perfect soundtrack for these incredible emcees to spit some crazy rhymes about life. The two had earlier collaborated on ‘I Promise‘ in 2013. Stream it below.
