Bryson Tiller Announced As Apple Music’s First Guest Curator

Bryson Tiller has had a close working relationship with Apple Music. Many attribute his success with TRAPSOUL to the company’s push for his music in the early stages when it was just starting to grow legs.

Last week, the singer released his sophomore album True To Self almost a month in advance of the original date and is expected to move 120k copies in the first week to debut at number 1 on Billboard 200. In conjunction with the same, Apple Music has now announced Tiller as its first “guest curator.” He will be taking on the role from June 2 to 9.

As Apple Music’s resident tastemaker, Tiller will be curating a total of five playlists, including a Grand Theft Auto-inspired set titled House Party on Grove Street and #OnRepeat playlist where he play his favorite projects and songs. He will also launch the streaming service’s new series DNA in which celebrities and other influencers will curate playlists based on their personal taste. Stay tuned for the debut tomorrow (June 2).

Bryson Tiller will go on tour with H.E.R. and Metro Boomin starting August 3rd in Atlanta.
