Physical Edition of Bryson Tiller’s ‘True To Self’ Album Gets Release Date

Bryson Tiller released his sophomore album True To Self last week almost a month earlier than the announced date, which surprised many. The album, released through Trapsoul/RCA opened at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week with 107k units moved according to Nielsen/Soundscan. Out of that, 47k copies were through pure sales.

Till now, Tiller’s album was only available digitally for purchase and streaming. But his diehard fans will be happy to know that the physical copy of the album is also getting released on June 23rd. The CD can now be pre-ordered on stores like Amazon and Best Buy. Neither of the stores are carrying any special bonus tracks.

Releasing an album digitally first followed by the physical release is now becoming the norm for most major label artists as it helps in preventing a premature leak of the project.
