Drake Brings out Tory Lanez at 2017 OVO Fest; Calls Him A “Great Guy”

Drake’s eight annual OVO Fest went down in Toronto, Canada tonight and as usual, he had special surprises packed for the fans. OVO signees PARTYNEXTDOOR, dvsn, Majid Jordan and Roy Woods were all scheduled to take stage but it’s the big guests that made headlines.

Right after Rae Sremmurd came out to perform the French Montana smash hit ‘Unforgettable’, Drake did the absolute unexpected by calling former rival Tory Lanez to the floor. And the song he performed was none other than his own remix of Drake’s hit ‘Controlla’. The Toronto crowd went nuts as the two shared the same stage for the first time. Drizzy then took the mic to tell the crowd that Tory was a great guy. “Me and this guy right here. We had problems with each other, we had never even met each other. I met the man, and he’s a great guy!” Watch the footage below.

The two had earlier squashed their beef with a few photos on Instagram together back in May. Tory was the biggest surprise guest but not the only one. He also brought out Cardi B who perform her current hit ‘Bodak Yellow’. The song is up to #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week and Drake appropriately called it the “biggest song” right now. Migos, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott and the other Canada star The Weeknd completed rest of the star attraction tonight.
