JAY-Z has already released several videos from his latest album 4:44 but they will keep coming as he apparently plans to release one for every song on the set.
After ‘Adnis‘ a few days ago, Hov returns today with another video representation, this time for the song ‘Moonlight’. This was one of my least favorite tracks on the album but they’ve done an amazing job with the video. It’s a sort of depiction of the iconic television show Friends and stars only black actors. Joey, Chandler, and Ross are played by Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta), and Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichael Show) respectively meanwhile, Insecure boss Issa Rae stars as Rachel, while Tiffany Haddish plays Phoebe. Tessa Howard plays the one and only Monica.
4:44 is one of Hov’s most critically acclaimed albums and there is already a theory that it was named after the hotel where Solange attacked him in the elevator.
