Chance The Rapper Takes Shots At Joe Budden During Live Performance

The tension between Chance The Rapper and Joe Budden is growing by the day.

It all started with Joe’s criticism of Chance’s new song with Daniel Caesar which he debuted on the Colbert show last month. Joe called it “too positive” and made fun of Chance’s delivery of the song during the show (watch Joe poking fun below).

Chance then addressed the criticism in an interview with Robyn Neal where he sent subliminal shots at Joey and defended his choice of making the song. “There’s this idea that you have to make things for the culture and push the culture forward and it’s like, ni**a I am the culture. Whatever decisions I made, they’re made and I also f**k with Joe Budden, I know he has to do his thing. He has a talk show now but before he was an artist and he got to do whatever he wanted. Now he has to go to his job and clock in and clock out and provide his insight. Ni**as gotta do what they gotta do,” said Chance.

Joe Budden then fired back at Chance during another episode of Complex’s Everyday Struggle show and now during a recent live performance, Chance hit back with some shots with a “I might fire Joe Budden” line as part of a freestyle. Watch it below.
