2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards gave Uncle Luke the lifetime achievement award to recognize his influence on rap music. The 2 Live Crew founder also delivered a heartfelt speech on the stage as he was flanked by original 2 Live Crew member Mr. Mixx and some of the city’s modern stars — DJ Khaled, Flo Rida, and Rick Ross.
