Drake Says Follow Up Single to ‘God’s Plan’ is Coming Soon

Drake’s incredible run refuses to die down as his songs continue to top the charts world over. His latest one ‘God’s Plan‘ which was not even intended to be an official single originally, ended up getting such a huge response that it debuted straight at number 1 on Billboard 100.

The song has now spent seven consecutive weeks at the top of the chart and sold more than 500k copies on digital stores. It’s also the first song in history to record 75 million streams each for seven straight weeks. But Drizzy doesn’t have any plans to stop anytime soon, it seems.

Drake’s good friend Chubbs, who is also a member of the OVO security team, posted about ‘God’s Plan’s inedible run on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake himself commented on the post saying “next one soon Splash,” hinting that another new chart topper is set to be out soon. Let’s see how soon it really arrives for the public. A couple of days ago, the Toronto superstar promised fans at the Raptors game that he is working on his new album “for the city.”

It will be interesting to see what strategy drake adopts here. Will he wait for ‘God’s Plan’ to cool down before firing the next one or will be try to score another hit while the iron is hot? Let’s wait and watch.
