Young Buck Teases Possible G-Unit-Def Jam Deal

There is certainly a lot going on over at G-Unit it seems. Back in March, rumors surfaced that 50 Cent might be signing a deal with Def Jam after the newly appointed CEO, Paul Rosenberg posted a photo with 50 on his Instagram.

“Caught up with an old friend this afternoon… ” Paul wrote in his caption. 50 had posted the same photo on his account as well and hinted that they were in talks to do business together, again. 50 and Paul of course, go way back as the latter is Eminem’s manager and also the boss of Shady Records, who 50 was signed to until a few years ago. He later left and went independent.

It looks like the conversation of a possible G-Unit deal with Def Jam is still on. Young Buck did an interview with DJ Self on Power 105 yesterday, to promote his new single ‘Can’t Lose‘– a song which we really like. At the end of the chat, Buck hinted that 50/G-Unit were in talks with Paul Rosenberg about making something happen. “I will just say shout out to Paul Rosenberg coz 50 told me to shout him out,” Buck said with a grin on his face. Earlier in the interview, Young Buck spoke on his early beginnings with Cash Money and Juvenile, how he connected with 50 Cent early on, his upcoming album Unexpected for which he is in talks with Dr. Dre to have him involved, 50 Cent’s Instagram post about Lloyd Banks leaving G-Unit Records (50’s IG post is now deleted) and more.
