Previous story (July 29th): Is Travis Scott releasing his long awaited album Astroworld on August 3rd?

There have been several hints online over the past couple of days that La Flame may be gearing to finally drop his third studio album next week. The first sign that the album’s release date is coming near was when a a giant bronze-looking head of the rapper was seen atop the roof of Amoeba Records in Hollywood (see a photo below).

But the biggest hint that the August 3rd release date might be true came when Mike Dean co-signed the date on his Twitter. When a fan tweeted “@therealmikedean said it. August 3rd, we’re all going to be shitting our pants,” the producer-engineer who is working closely with Travis on the Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight followup, re-tweeted it without any hesitation. See a screenshot below.

Travis Scott himself also liked an Instagram post from a fan account who posted about the Friday release date.

“It’s kinda like a more personal album. I just want people to kind of get to know me and like really get to know the rage inside and really what’s going on in my mental, like really what I be thinking,” Travis told the L.A. Leakers on Power 106 about the album in May. Let’s see if the internet speculation about a release date wins this time around too.
