UPDATE: Ye has taken to Twitter to respond to the criticism of his silence after Kimmel’s Trump question. He claims he was just taking time to think of an answer and wasn’t given a chance.
On Jimmy Kimmel we had a great time having a dialogue. I’m reading that I was stumped by a question. Let me clarify the click bait. I wasn’t stumped. I wasn’t given a chance to answer the question.

The question was so important I took time to think. And then I was hit with the let’s go to commercial break. That interview showed strong personalities with different opinions having a civil conversation.

Kanye West decided to make a rare interview appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night which had some political talk as well, something we were not expecting.
Kanye was questioned by Jimmy Kimmel about his recent support for Donald Trump. “Whether we like his personality or not, his actions are really what matter. You so famously and so powerfully said ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people. It makes me wonder, what makes you think that Donald Trump does?” Jimmy asks ‘Ye. The rapper went silent so the host called for a commercial break.
Kanye also talked about how we all live in simulation, why Donald Trump needs to be given a chance, the importance of love, why society needs to stop thinking about past and instead focus on the future, meaning of songs like ‘I Thought About Killing You’ on his latest album Ye, still being into porn, process of putting out five G.O.O.D Music albums, being bipolar and more.
