A$AP Rocky has had fans waiting for his album Don’t Be Dumb for a considerable period of time. While the album remains due for release, the rapper has decided to give fans a taste with two new songs.
With ‘Trunks’ and ‘Both Eyes Closed,’ Rocky has the two tracks as part of the soundtrack album for Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest movie. For those that don’t know, A$AP Rocky is also the lead in the film, so fans get to both hear the music as well as see Rocky as a multifaceted star.
A rapper-turned-actor and fashion mogul, Rocky has often broken the mould to bring new and innovative concepts to the forefront. Perhaps this is also why Tyler, The Creator wanted Rocky to be a part of his eccentric sonic explorations as a woulda-been-duo.
