Nas has been focusing on his label Mass Appeal Records lately, trying to push the new talent on the roster including Keyon Harrold and Stro.
Every year, Mass Appeal will choose 5 of its artists, both rising and established, and send them on a tour across the country. Along with it, they will also put out an EP showcasing new music from the signed artists and special guests. In preparation of the Starting 5 tour kicking off Feb 6th, Mass Appeal has released an 8 song EP called Starting 5: Vol. 1 which features Nas (on the opening song ‘Apostles’) as well Black Milk, Stro, Statik Selektah, Fashawn and more.
