While fans are still waiting for Jay Electronica to finally release his long delayed album (well, some fans have given up), a few songs from the rapper have surfaced online today.
The origin of the tracks is unknown, even the titles are not revealed but you can tell they are from the early days of Jay Elect’s rap career which kicked off way back in late 90s when he was moving city to city to earn a name for himself. One of the songs here is called ‘Hey 19’ and that is known because it was performed by him live with ex-partner Erykah Badu on stage many years ago, and appeared on a sampler for Badu’s then label Control Freaq Records.
You can listen to the songs below. Back in March, Jay Elect teased the release of a joint album with his friend and label head, Jay-Z. But of course, we are still waiting on him to deliver the product.
