Missy Elliott Releases Comeback Project ‘Iconology’ — Stream

Earlier today, Missy Elliott surprised the world when she tweeted that she was going to be dropping a collection of new music tonight called Iconology. Features from the rapper have been rare over the years but bodies of work are even rarer.

The last time we got an actual project from her was when she released The Cookbook in 2005, making this her first in 14 years. In 2017, she released her single ‘I’m Better’ and then followed it up with a remix featuring Eve, Lil Kim and Trina but fans were left disappointed as she kind of disappeared again.

But tonight, we finally get to hear new music from the iconic musician who will be honored at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Stream the 5 song EP Iconology via your favorite service below.
