The Black Lives Matter movement saw a resurgence after the unjust killing of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police. It led to worldwide protests and many celebrities stood in harmony with the protesters to demand justice.

With Hip-Hop being so deeply connected with racial injustices, many rappers have dropped protest songs to raise their voice. One upcoming rapper who can be added to the list is Toka Fly. The Toledo, Ohio-born artist has seen a lot of struggles in his life which includes a 7-year bid in federal prison.
