Travis Scott Confirms He’s Working on A Full Joint Album with Kid Cudi

Travis Scott is the cover star of GQ’s September issue, where he has revealed that he has a full length joint album with Kid Cudi on the way.

The first song they released was ‘The Scotts‘ which was named after their group and debuted during Travis’ much talked about live performance on Fortnite. The rap superstar doesn’t reveal a release date but does say they have already cut a bunch of records. “Man, a lot. Some fireness!” he says when asked what we can expect from the two.

Travis played several unreleased songs for the interviewer Gerrick D. Kennedy. Speaking a bit about his upcoming album, the followup to Astroworld, Travis says, “I feel like I’ve learned so much. I think with this next project I’m just embodying all of the knowledge I’ve taken in and trying to make the best form of it.”

The GQ feature also reveals that new music from the Houston native is set to appear on Christopher Nolan’s anticipated film TENET. “His voice became the final piece of a year-long puzzle. His insights into the musical and narrative mechanism Ludwig Göransson and I were building were immediate, insightful, and profound,” Nolan told the publication.

UPDATE: Travis’ single from the film titled ‘The Plan’ arrives this Friday. You can hear a tiny snippet as well as peep the official artwork below.
