Pompano Beach rapper Jackboy has enlisted Russ on a new version of his song ‘Own My Masters’. With a title like that, Russ — who is always at the forefront of telling us how important it is to own your IP — is certainly the best choice for this record.
The original version of the Sniper Gang rapper’s song was released last year with a music video but the remix is for sure a good way to revisit it. “I might say what Prince told Nas / I ain’t tryna do features if you don’t own your masters,” raps Russ on his standout verse. Listen below.
