Megan Thee Stallion & DaBaby Diss Each Other on Twitter over Tory Lanez Collaboration

DaBaby collaborating with Tory Lanez for their new single ‘SKAT‘ has led to a sour friendship between Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby. And it’s no surprise.

It all started on Saturday when the North Carolina rapper retweeted a tweet from a fan who joked about DaBaby and Tory Lanez both being accused of shooting at some point but not doing jail time. “I guess @DaBabyDaBaby and @torylanez cool now bc the both shot somebody and don’t have to do no jail time,” the tweet read, followed by a laughing emoji.

However, when some fans started to notice the RT, DaBaby claimed there was some sort of an error at Twitter’s end and that he never retweeted anything. “Idk what type of Illuminati shit Twitter got goin on,” he tweeted. “I ain’t retweet nothing but ‘Ball If I Want To’ promo. I ain’t retweet that silly shit. Then once ppl start tagging me & I saw it and tried to delete it and undo the retweet Twitter didn’t let me. Type shit yall on?”

Megan was quick to fire back and dismiss DaBaby’s excuse, saying, “Support me in private and publicly do something different…these industry men are very strange. This situation ain’t no damn “beef” and I really wish people would stop down playing it like it’s some internet shit for likes and retweets.”

DaBaby, who has collaborated with Megan several times in the past including on the latest single ‘Cry Baby‘, continued to defend himself: “You done let these folks get the best of you thug,” he responded. “ion got no bad energy for ya. You know like I know I ain’t no ‘industry’ nigga , let em fool you into thinking that you trippin. Stand on what you stand on without feeling like I’m against ya. Stay focused my g.”

But Megan wasn’t buying it. “My stance hasn’t changed at all YOURS has. We already spoke abt this in private and you specifically said ‘that ain’t even no good business move why would I promote that shit’ but now this ain’t your ‘beef’ ? That ain’t real. But you stay on ya ‘business’ my g,” she said.

See the rest of the exchange below. Megan had earlier claimed before DaBaby and Tory’s single release back in January that ‘SKAT’ wasn’t cleared so it seems like she was confident that the song will not come out as she perhaps trusted DaBaby will support her in the situation.

Even Megan’s boyfriend, rapper and writer Pardison Fontaine, joined in and dissed DaBaby, calling him a “clown ass ni**a.”
