Buddy Unveils New Single & Video ‘Wait Too Long’ Ft. Blxst; Announces Sophomore Album ‘Superghetto’

Buddy is one of the most talented rappers from L.A. but he is not one of those artists who likes to drop music very regularly.

The Compton born rapper is now back in Action with a brand new single ‘Wait Too Long’ where he takes assistance from the current go-to guy for hooks, Blxst. The smooth track comes along with a music video as well — watch it below.

Speaking to Zane Lowe for the premiere, Buddy said, “I feel Black, I’m so proud to be Black. I’m gonna drop something for the Blacks every February. I’m the Mariah Carey of February!” He has also announced that his sophomore album called Superghetto will release on March 25. It will serve as the follow up to the solid debut Harlan & Alondra in 2018.

“It’s more about the essence growing up in the hood. I’m from there, so its in me not on me and I take it everywhere I go. Everyone else just has to conform to the energy I’m bringing to the table. That’s what the album sounds like. My experience, from my perspective… the beat selection…its a bunch of different flows and cadences,” he said about Superghetto.
