Apple Music Releases 2022 Year-End Charts: The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber Have Top Song, Bad Bunny Top Album

Like they do at this time of the year, Apple Music has released its year-end charts for 2022, spotlighting 2022’s top songs, top Shazams, top fitness songs, top albums, most-read lyrics and more.

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber have finished the year at No. 1 on the Top Songs of 2022 with their hit song ‘STAY’, even though it was released in the Summer of 2021. ‘STAY’ spent a massive 51 days atop the Daily Top 100: Global and remained successful through 2022. The track has not dropped out of the Daily Top 100: Global since its release, and has reached No. 1 on the Daily Top 100 in 69 countries and regions worldwide.

‘As It Was’ by Harry Styles, ‘Wait For U’ by Future & Drake, ‘Super Gremlin’ by Kodak Black and ‘Easy on Me’ by Adele round off the top 5 of the global songs list. See the full list here.

To no surprise, Bad Bunny had the biggest album of the year on the streaming service as Un Verano Sin Ti continues to break records.

Leading the Shazam chart is ‘Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)’ by Elton John and Dua Lipa, which marked Elton John’s first time topping the Shazam global chart. meanwhile, ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’, the standout on the soundtrack to Disney’s Encanto topped the Most Read Lyrics chart.

Hip-Hop continued to lead the Top Songs chart, accounting for 32 of the top 100 songs of the year. Pop followed, with 23 songs on the chart, followed by R&B/Soul, with 11 songs. Latin came in fourth, with eight songs, followed by J-Pop, with six.
