Hit-Boy has revealed the album cover and tracklist for his new album Surf or Drown.
The super producer made the surprise announcement about his new album on Thursday, during a Twitter Spaces session with Elliott Wilson. “It’s some other vibes on there I feel like people gon’ rock with. It’s not all… soul chops and sh*t, it’s like modern sounds, it’s everything, it’s a world to come into,” he said, revealing that the recent Alchemist collaboration ‘Slipping Into Darkness‘ will be featured on it.
With the album coming next Friday (March 24), Hit has unveiled the tracklist today which features Nas, Currensy, Dom Kennedy and James Fauntleroy. Some fans will be surprised to see the lack of big guests on it but I guess that’s because he wants to keep the focus on himself (and his rapping). Check it out below.
