We haven’t heard new music from the duo of Rick Ross and Meek Mill in a minute. Looks like that is about to change.
The two took to Instagram on Tuesday night and previewed a new song from the studio. It sounds like more of a laid back rapping song than a club banger. Take a look below.
Last year, there were reports that there was tension between the two artists, most probably over Meek’s recording contract with Ross’ MMG imprint. Neither of them had addressed the beef publicly but many of Meek’s distressed tweets seemed to be pointing towards Ross.
In November, the first sign of the beef being sorted came when Meek Mill performed a special concert commemorating the 10th anniversary of his debut album, Dreams & Nightmares.
During the homecoming show at the Wells Fargo Center in his hometown of Philadelphia, Mill brought out his Maybach Music Group label founder during a performance of ‘Ima Boss’ from the label’s 2011 compilation album, Self Made, Vol. 1.
