Spotify has released the list of most streamed songs of the Summer today.
Globally, ‘Ella Baila Sola’ by Eslabon Armado, Peso Pluma took the top spot on the list while in the U.S., Morgan Wallen’s ‘Last Night’ claimed the number one most-streamed song this summer, making it the first-ever country song to take the #1 spot. Spotify’s Songs of Summer list is based on Spotify Charts between May 29 and August 14, 2023.
To no surprise, as many as five country songs made it onto the U.S. top 20 Summer list this year – including ‘Fast Car’ by Luke Combs, ‘You Proof’ by Morgan Wallen, ‘Something in the Orange’ by Zach Bryan and ‘Wasted On You’ by Morgan Wallen, marking a big resurgence for Country back in mainstream.
