Snoop Dogg Enlists Dr. Dre on Production Duties for New Album, ‘Missionary,’ Touted for July 2024 Release

According to the latest scoop on Snoop Dogg, the rapper is ready to drop Missionary next month, as a sequel to his debut 1993 album, Doggystyle

The excitement, however, doesn’t end there. Snoop also has Dr. Dre on production/ mixing duties. The album will be out via the joint efforts of labels including Death Row Records, Aftermath and Interscope, as revealed on Drink Champs recently.

Recently, Snoop was being celebrated for his contributions to the latest album by Tha Dogg Pound, W.A.W.G. (We All We Got). Interestingly, thats the source of the new information reveal. Tha Dogg Pound duo Daz Dillinger and Kurupt took to Drink Champs recently to speak with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN about everything from Death Row, Tupac and Nate Dogg to well, the hottest piece of information to do with Snoop’s upcoming album.

While until recently it seemed like Snoop was caught up managing the Death Row Records name and brand, the tycoon seems to be coming back to his roots as an artist especially ever since his voice was used by Drake on a AI driven diss to Kendrick. Now, the emcee is back stronger than ever, dropping and teasing project after project.

Just last month, the rapper was also seen shooting the video for an unreleased song giving his flowers to Kendrick (although he also acknowledged both Drake and Kendrick as his ‘nephews’ in another interview). Regardless of Snoop playing it diplomatic and grown, we are very excited about finding out whether or not the aforementioned track ends up on Missionary. After all, we can expect a barrage of bars, for he did say that Kendrick and Drake are making everyone rap-rap again!
