kanye rihanna 3

A Kanye West and Rihanna joint tour has been circulating around the rumor mill for long. It originated from Rihanna accidentally revealing a $15,000 price for the “Kanye West Tour Experience” in her tweet back in December and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for some concrete piece of news.

It looks a joint tour may very well be happening as Live Nation has just announced a tour date on their French website, featuring both superstars in Laululava, Estonia on July 25th. It’s a lone date for now but definitely signals a full fledged tour could be in the works.

Will they tour together throughout the world? Will Kanye only join RiRi on select dates or vice versa? We’d have to wait and see.

g unit listening

On a brick cold night in New York City, G-Unit invited a select few to attend a private listening session at Engine Room Audio for the group’s new EP The Beast is G-Unit. HHNM was fortunate enough to be in the building for the event and paid close attention to what 50 and the gang had to offer.

The select taste makers and journalists who attended were lucky to have the entire crew on hand to watch them vibe to their own music as well as answer a couple questions about the project. Once all 5 G-Unit members (50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Kidd Kidd) arrived, the play button was pressed.

The EP features 6 tracks (peep the track list here) which serves as an appropriate follow up to their last EP The Beauty of Independence. This time, the setting is a bit different as we only hear 50 on a number of hooks rather than doing multiple verses. 50 mentioned that he did this so that the spotlight could be on the rest of the group rather than on him. The project features those vintage 50 style hooks on songs like ‘Ballin’ and ‘I’m Grown’ which is expected to be the next single.

raekwon promo

Raekwon has been working on his F.I.L.A. album for almost two years now but push backs have happened on the regular. Now that he’s done with the Wu-Tang album A Better Tomorrow (which sold horribly and received bad reviews), the Chef is back to focusing on this solo project.

The Wu-Tang rapper has announced a new release date of April 28 for the Fly International Luxurious Art which he has often called his best one yet. While we wait for new music, you can listen to his latest track ‘Call Of Duty’ featuring Akon here.

ja rule sneaker collection (3)

Ja Rule may not be the hottest rapper right now but that hasn’t kept Steve Madden from doing a custom sneaker collection with the New York rapper. The fashion giant will be working with Ja on a men’s capsule collection called Maven x Madden comprising of 5 styles.

The duo debuted the collection at FN Platform in Las Vegas earlier this week which is ready for a preview already. Ja told Footwear News:

“I wanted to partner with Steve to create a line that was both stylish and affordable. I love all the styles, but my favorites, I would have to say, are the high-top suede and the high-top dress shoe,” he said. “The Maven motorcycle-stye boot is something different from anything out there. The key on the front of the shoe represents freedom: freedom to be creative.”

Steve Madden says:

“I was shocked at how creative he is. He came to the table with all of these ideas.”

Check out rest of the collection below. Will you be copping these?
