50 Cent Is Ready To Battle Jay-Z

50 called into Green Lantern’s Sirius Satellite radio show late Monday and discussed his lukewarm sales predictions and Jay-Z’s possible dig at him at the AMAs the other night.

This is what he has to say about the comment:

“He’s said that before, I didn’t really take that as disrespect. If you wanna be disrespectful, just be disrespectful. Once we start I’m not gonna stop. I’ll make you aware of that, ’cause I’m not the type of guy that goes away. So if that’s the kind of energy we getting ready to go into, then let’s do it!”

On the low sales predictions:

“When the energy around a project is the way this is, you can’t really feel like it’s a failure. Like, I look at the numbers and am like ‘What is this?’ I’ve already assessed that the album has been out a month before it’s actual release period. So when you got that, you go, ‘Well, what did you actually expect?’

For myself, I’m asking myself, ‘What did you expect, bro? Your fans got it when it was available, at the first available opportunity.”

After the jump, the story on: ‘Jay-Z didn’t stand to cheer Eminem & 50 Cent at the AMAs’

“A Hollyscoop spy sitting right near Jay in the audience says he wouldn’t even stand up to cheer his fellow rappers on! They tell Hollyscoop exclusively, “When 50 Cent and Eminem were performing, Jay Z didn’t stand up. And the guy next to him stood up, and Jay Z pulled the guy down. So the guy sat.”
