Kanye West continues to be one of the most controversial rappers the industry has seen. On Tuesday morning, Kanye, who is fresh off his hospitalization in L.A., unexpectedly made his way into the Trump Tower in NYC but it wasn’t clear whether he would be meeting the President-elect Donald Trump.
A few minutes later, the two came down the elevator together and spoke very briefly with the press present. With ‘Ye by his side, Trump spoke to reporters, calling the rapper a “good man” and telling journalists that they have been “friends for a long time.”
Kanye was silent for most of the time as he usually does and then said “I just want to take a picture right now.”
Last month, Kanye surprised us when he announced during his San Jose show that he didn’t vote in this election but had he done so, Trump would have been his choice. It was unexpected as Kanye and Kim had sort of endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Presidential pick during the campaign.
