YG has been working on his third studio album, the follow up to last year’s Still Brazy. but before that, he will also drop his Re’d Up 3 mixtape. According to the press release issued by Def Jam, the title of YG’s third studio album is JUST RE’D UP 3: KNOW YOUR WORTH which will be executive produced by DJ Mustard. The earlier installments of Just Re’d Up series were mixtapes.
Tonight, the Bompton rapper joins forces with his old partner DJ Mustard for a new song ‘Pop It, Shake It’ which has a sound reminiscent of the material on his debut album My Krazy Life. Mustard played a major role in crafting the music on that album but did not contribute to the sophomore effort because of a misunderstanding. They are working together heavily again and this song is the first single from the upcoming album.
