Doechii has finally dropped the official version of her ‘Anxiety’ song which has been making waves on the internet for a while.
‘Anxiety’ has been trending on TikTok over the last two to three weeks after it resurfaced. The origin is Doechii performing the raw version five years ago on her YouTube channel where she sampled Gotyeâs Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ featuring Kimbra from 2011.
“Swamp I heard yâall loud n clear !” as she announced the release an hour before dropping the song on DSPs. âAnxiety/ Keep on trying me/ I feel it quietly/ Tryna silence me, yeah/ My anxiety/ Canât shake it off of me/ Somebodyâs watching me/ And my anxiety,” the GRAMMY winner sings on the track (similar vocal also appears on this feature on the Sleepy Hallow track).
