Nicki Minaj teased a new “secret” video project with Jesse Williams a few weeks ago. Turns out, she is starring in H&M’s short film titled ‘A Magical Holiday’.
The 3-minute long short film stars Nicki as a mother and fairy named Wisest Thingy while Jesse Williams is playing father’s role as Fastest Fairy. It is directed by Johan Renck while actor John Turturro plays Santa Claus and St. Nick’s evil brother.
The story is based around alternate universe where their daughter has to confront Santa Claus’ evil brother. “I love seeing this young girl become the champion that lives in all of us. There’s always magic in the air during the holidays,” said Nicki about the movie. In the coming days, H&M and Nicki are set to launch a new line inspired by the rapper’s love of Japanese culture.
