Benny The Butcher’s new album Burden of Proof is getting rave reviews from fans and critics across the board but the rapper definitely has more music on the way it seems.
The Griselda powerhouse recently sat down with Bootleg Kev on his podcast where he chatted about the new album, collaborating with Hit-Boy throughout, the features on it, how he came into the game, when we can expect his song with Drake to drop, possible joint projects with Conway The Machine and Freddie Gibbs, getting into legal trouble and more.
Around the 24 minute mark, the two discuss Benny’s friendship with Russ and how he was supposed to be on tour with the hitmaker. Remember they already have a song together, ‘I Thought You Got Me‘ from Russ’ last album Shake The Snow Globe.
Benny then explains why he respects Russ and reveals that he has an upcoming collaboration with Russ and Black Thought on the way — yes, all three on the same song. “I don’t know when he’s gonna drop this record,” says Benny, hinting that the track belongs to Russ.
