Top Dawg Entertainment has been laying low for the past couple of years with hardly any releases coming through from the label.
Fans are anticipating the release of new albums from Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and more. Today, the CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has teased and pretty much confirmed that something is coming on May 7th.
Taking to Instagram, Top Dawg wrote “5/7//21 THE WAIT IS OVAH!!!!!!” with a loading style video accompanied by the label’s logo. Of course, we don’t know what is coming but at least we know fans will be eating soon.
LeBron James recently tweeted about K.Dot’s absence, writing that he’s in “dying need” of the Compton superstar’s return to music. Is Top Dawg responding to the same? We shall know soon.
