The upcoming halftime show at the 2022 Super Bowl on Feb. 13 is surely one of the most anticipated events of the year.
“43 Grammys, 19 No. 1 Billboard albums and 5 legendary artists on the biggest stage in Los Angeles,” is how Pepsi, the NFL and Roc Nation revealed the lineup for the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show late last year: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
As expected, there have been rumblings as to whether Dre will have any special guests as one of the biggest signees he nurtured, 50 Cent, isn’t officially featured on the lineup. Another likely guest could be Ice Cube. But it looks like 50 could very well a surprise guest during the set.

Eminem’s die hard fans found a video clip of ‘In Da Club’ being rehearsed at the SoFi stadium with a live band recently, giving a strong indication that 50 will come out to perform his monster hit (and more). Watch it above. Let’s hope it really happens. In case you missed it, check out the official trailer for show here.
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” said Dr. Dre in a statement. “I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
UPDATE: And it happened. 50 Cent was the surprise guest during the set, performing his massive hit ‘In Da Club’. Watch the full halftime performance here.
