Kid Cudi and Kanye West haven’t been in good terms lately, we all know that.

The rapper-singer has done a new interview with Esquire where he talks about his broken relationship with ‘Ye and why there is little chance he will be friends with him again. As we know, Cudi was dragged in to the saga by Kanye over Pete Davidson (who is Cudder’s good friend) dating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

“With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s about to take a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their beef is squashed. That’s not me. What I say, I mean. I will be done with you. It’s gonna take a motherfucking miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He gon’ have to become a monk,” said Cudi.

“The twisted thing is that I love him, but I love you so much that I can kick you the f*ck out of my life and be done with your ass. ’Cause you are not good for me,” he said. “I love myself more. I love myself more. I didn’t love myself all them years you knew me. I love myself more now, bro. I love myself way more.”

This interview was conducted in June, before Kanye threw another jab at Cudi over the bottle throwing incident at Rolling Loud Miami stage last month.

“I’m not one of your kids,” Cudi continued further addressing Ye. “I’m not Kim. It don’t matter if I’m friends with Pete or not friends with Pete. None of this shit had anything to do with me. If you can’t be a grown man and deal with the fact that you lost your woman? That’s not my fu**ing problem.”

After some fans took notice of Cudi mentioning Drake and thinking that he’s taking a shot at him, the “man on the moon” artist took to Twitter to clarify that he didn’t mean to throw Drizzy under the bus.

“Just to be clear, I wasnt tryna throw a shot at Drake. I got love 4 him. My point I was tryna make is that im not so forgiving. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake.”

In the interview, Kid Cudi also revealed that he siffered a stroke two weeks into his rehab stint in 2016. His new album and Netflix show ENTERGALACTIC is set to come out Sept. 30th.
