Gunna was released from prison late last year after pleading guilty to RICO charges. At the time, he pointed out that he hadn’t made a statement, been interviewed, co-operated or agreed to testify with the case in any way, but that didn’t stop the internet labelling him a snitch.
Former friends/frequent collaborators turned their back on him too, with Meek Mill and Lil Baby unfollowing him on social media and Lil Durk calling him out too.
Earlier in June, Gunna put out his first new song since being a free man, ‘bread & butter‘, which got a good reception. Tonight, he’s following it up with a whole new album which he announced earlier in the week, much to the surprise of the fans.
