Jeremih’s ‘Planes’ with J. Cole is now certified platinum by the RIAA and we already know that an album is long, long overdue. Today we’re finally blessed with some new material by way of ‘Oui’. Here’s what Jeremih had to say about the song on Rap Genius (who premiered the lyrics) a little earlier:
The song is called “Oui,” but I wasn’t in France when I wrote this, I was in L.A. at the time. I actually wrote this song two years ago. I was flipping through beats and Needlz sent me this beat; it was pretty much like an alley-oop for a writer like myself to hop on.
The mid tempo song fits right into Jeremih’s trademark sound so we can see this doing well. Listen to it below and tell us what you think.
