[Saturday Spotlight] – Raw Facts, Ciel Rouge & Dino B.A.M.

Raw Facts

Although we don’t typically showcase freestyles on this series, we couldn’t pass on Rochester’s own Raw Facts and his rendition of Kanye’s Yeezus cut ‘Bound 2’. Raw adapts to the soulfulness of ‘Bound 2”s instrumental and like he always does, spits some raw facts (pun intended). Ciel Rouge

Louisiana stand up. The very talented Ciel Rouge takes us back to the golden era of Southern Hip Hop with his self directed music video for ‘Pretty Women’. The video, shot entirely in Ciel’s hometown of Algiers, Louisiana, is heavily inspired by cult classic films “Hustle & Flow” and “The Mack”. Ciel, who appears as Algiers Slim in this short flick, has a very promising future. Find out why below.

Dino B.A.M.

Last up is R&B sensation Dino B.A.M. who’s found himself on the Saturday Spotlight series in the past. Today, Dino returns with his self-produced, and very much relatable track, ‘Dream Girl’. We all have one out there and Dino’s smooth melodies over the captivating instrumental allows us to fantasize about her. Take a listen below.
