The first week sales projections for both Wale and Ludacris’ March 31st efforts were relatively disappointing considering previous numbers for the two and the amount of press done.
Wale leads between the two with a number which was in the estimated range. He sold 90,381 copies of The Album About Nothing first week (and 98,264 including streaming). This is a huge drop from Wale’s previous album The Gifted which sold over 150,000 copies first week.
Ludacris who has had a busy past few days with the success of Furious 7‘s opening numbers managed to sell 58,830 copies of Ludaversal (67,283 with streams), his first album in five years.
