Oxley
Our first pick this week is Oxley. His musical influences are a little different to the rappers you might expect. He cites Lil B and Future as influences on his beat choice and use of autotune. Here, he brings us his self-titled project which, from the artwork to the music, is an introspective glimpse into his life. Check it out below.
MistaRogers
MistaRogers’ new mixtape is hosted by DJ Drama and is called Dying To Live. It features guest appearance from heavy hitters like of Ty Dolla $ign and Troy Ave. Just days after its release, MistaRogers delivers a visual for ‘Ever Since’ featuring Stalley and Ray Jr. and directed by Ced Lynch. Watch below.
Greenline
Greenline are a duo made up of Yung T and K-Reid with one member from the Bronx and one member from Brooklyn. They’re kicking off their Un4gettable album campaign with a new video for ‘The Town’. The song is a great and comfortable sound for the New York artists and they make an extremely respectable case for your support. Take a look.
Next up is Charlotte, NC’s Bankroll Bird. His last EP True Story is assisting him with gaining popularity and he’s making the most of his situation. He releases the video for the title track from the EP today where he details his up-bringing in North Carolina. If you like what you hear and see, check out the full EP here.
Bizz-E Blaze
Finally is Flatbush’s Bizz-E Blaze who comes through with ‘P.P.P.’ which stands for ‘Pretty Pink Panties’. TheBeatBangaz laced him up with some great production on this but he definitely held his own on the banger. You can look forward to more loosies before Bizz-E starts the campaign for his next project which his shaping up to be special.
