Young Money Yawn
Coming off of being a co-headlining act alongside Ma$e, Tink and Jidenna for Trey Songz, Virginia rapper Young Money Yawn is growing at a good pace. His Lost Scriptures II tape will be releasing soon and to keep us entertained, he releases a new visual for ‘I Be Shinning’ which appeared on Street Gospel II, the DJ Drama-hosted mixtape. Watch below.
Kay Cola
Kay Cola who is also known as The Lucid Dream Queen has a moving video for her empowering new single ‘Royalty’. It shows a montage of several riots that have taken place all too recently and is dedicated to Sandra Bland whose story you should research if you haven’t already. For The Dreamers is out now. Check out the socially charged video below.
Podgy Smith
Atlanta rapper Podgy Smith just released Moments and this is sure to be a huge moment for him. The mixtape features production from Syk Sense (who produced ‘6 God’ with Boi-1da and co-produced ‘Know Yourself’), Teddy Walton and many more big names. The project is sure to be a highlight in what looks to be a successful career for Podgy Smith. Listen below.
Billy Chambers
Billy Chambers is only 19 years old and will be releasing his album Electric Love very soon. He gives us a preview to the LP with the fist single titled ‘Breakdown’ produced by Weird Inside. The song showcases Billy’s style perfectly and is sure to keep you entertained from start to finish with beat changes and a catchy hook. Hear it below.
Mic Kellogg
Milwaukee’s Mic Kellogg continues to release music under his food-based theme to promote his upcoming project which is titled Breakfast. It doesn’t have a release date yet but considering this is one of the last things will hear before its release, we’re hoping it should be out very soon. Check out the atmospheric ‘Take Me’ below.
RIZSELFMADE
Receiving a co-sign from 50 Cent and G-Unit is no small feat. Harlem rapper RIZSELFMADE takes full advantage of his special position in the game and releases ‘Jordans & Foreigns’, the banger which serves as the first single from hi forthcoming album DatMadeLife Pt. 2. Turn your volume up and hit play.
