Good afternoon and welcome to yet another edition of Saturday Spotlight. This week we present Kevin Sinatra, Garrett, Beeda Weeda and Jimmy Wopo. Check it out below and enjoy!
Remember: We take submissions for this series. Please see guidelines here.
Kevin Sinatra
First up is a native of Woodbridge, Virginia who made his return this past week. Kevin Sinatra linked back up with frequent collaborator Farma Wes for ‘She Call’ which is produced by VirtuosoTheGod. The song will appear on Lord Frio, Sinatra’s LP set for a 2017 release. Check it out below.
Garrett
It has been almost a year since Boston rapper Garrett shared his mixtape The 6YS. Since then he’s dropped music here and there and he’s back for another release now. He gets together with producer Kal Banx for ‘Dairy Queen’. Listen to the Daily Chiefers premiere below.
Beeda Weeda
Third we have a Hip-Hop artist from Oakland, California who has received support from Too Short and E-40. Beeda Weeda is using his voice for the greater good with his song ‘Revolution’ which takes a stance against police brutality. Take a look at the video below via HHDX.
Jimmy Wopo
Last up we have 19 year old Jimmy Wopo who is a buzzing artist coming out of Pittsburgh. He’s been receiving a great reaction online and his new video ‘Elm Street’ should be no different. While he preps his forthcoming project Woponese, be sure to check out his latest visual below and stay tuned if you like what you see.
