French Montana Pushes Back ‘MC4’ At Last Minute Due To Sample Clearance

One often sees push backs in Hip-Hop but rarely do you see an album being delayed two days before the release.

French Montana was due to release his sophomore album MC4 on August 19th but he surprised everyone today by announcing that it won’t be coming out on time. The Coke Boys leader blamed the push back on sample clearance issues but did not give out a new date (Update: According to iTunes, the album is set for a October 14 release now).

MC4 features the singles ‘Lockjaw‘ featuring Kodak Black, ‘No Shopping‘ featuring Drake and ‘Figure It Out‘ with Nas & Kanye West. The album also has other guest appearances likes ASAP Rocky, Miguel, Jeezy, Max B, Chinx, Beanie Sigel and more.
