Chance The Rapper & Jeremih have joined forces yet again in Christmas spirit, as they so often do. Their new collaborative EP Secret Santa comes in right on time for the holiday season, as they so often have in the past.
The release follows in the footsteps of their mixtape projects together. As of now, the two have dropped 3 mixtapes for Christmas together outside of the latest joint.
The artwork is a simple one: red background with a green text (true to the brand colors for the season) reading ‘Secret Santa,’ referring to the act of secretly giving friends gifts. Perhaps it is also a play on the surprise release!
For the most part, the songs play to the duo’s strengths in melodic rap music with a tinge of RnB. Equal parts sensual and sweet, the project is out now on SoundCloud.
