New Music: J.Period – ‘Rise Up!’ (Feat. Black Thought, Posdnuos, Pharoahe Monch & Joss Stone)

In anticipation of his new EP Rise Up which will be available on May the 2nd, J.Period has recruited some elite level wordsmiths for the title track to the project. ‘Rise Up!’ features The Roots’ Black Thought, De La Soul’s Posdnuos, underground king Pharoahe Monch and Joss Stone and it’s every bit as eniticing and necessary right now as it sounds.
